Supervised or monitored exchanges take place during the transfer of the child(ren) from one parent to the other. The supervisor is present for the exchange from one parent to the other. The supervisor does not attend the visitation with either parent. Supervised or Monitored Exchanges can be used to assure that the parents do not come into contact with each other during the exchange.
